Slow as a Snail Today

Saw this while perusing Amy's blog and thought it would be fun to do.

Ragdoll
You are a Ragdoll! You are known for your laid

back attitude. You are the ultimate in

low-maintenance. You'd rather hang out

around the house all day than seek adventure.

What breed of cat are you?

Heather had commented to my last posting and asked how the babysitting went on Friday. Let's just say that I was sooo stressed by the end of the day that I didn't want to stitch and ended up crying for a little over an hour.

Michael (6 years old) decided that when I called the kids in from being outside in the cold for about 5 minutes (didn't realize just how cold it was out there) that he would get mad and run by me, slam the door and lock me out. As if that wasn't bad enough my daughter Ashley was in her carseat sleeping in one of the bedrooms. If it wasn't for Michael's sister being in the house with him then I wouldn't have been able to get back in as he couldn't get the door unlocked once he had locked it. I called his mom at work as I was standing outside in the freezing cold (that goodness for cell phones) and it didn't even seem to phase her that he had done this.

Right now I am contemplating weather or not I want to sit for her again. I think I may do it and just tell her point blank if her son (or any of the other kids) are as rude and unruly as Michael was on Friday again then I will not be able to take care of them. Aside from watching Laurie's 4 kids I am also looking after my 2 kids so I am watching 6 kids ranging in age from 11 months to 11 years old. What have I gotten myself into?!??!!?

On a brighter note I am thinking of picking up my stitching and focusing on mainly that today so that I can start some new projects once my new stash comes in the mail. Will update this a little later with a picture of what I have gotten done on my teacup.

Oh what a child, if I'd been the Mother, well let's not get started on that!!

Perhaps try sitting one more time and see how it goes, it's not easy looking after other people's children.

I hope you get relaxed and enjoy your stitching day today.
