Last Picture Post

Well my camera has official gone to camera heaven.I put all the pictures on the computer before it did so until I save up enough money to get another one I am camera less for now. I did manage to get a picture of the finished Jordan project that I finished up yesterday. Just needs to be ironed and framed and then it can hang on his wall for him to enjoy. I have decide to stitch a Peony project that came with the new DMC Impressions fabric that I bought at AC Moore a few weeks ago. You can see a picture of the fabric here... When browsing Michael's the other day for some DMC 817 I came across some other Impressions fabrics but stopped myself from buying anymore fabric (until I go back to work of course LOL LOL). Then I am going to buy a couple more pieces. Off to take the kids outside for a little while before it starts to storm like they are predicting. Happy Stitching Day everyone!

A WIP and a Finish

After running out of DMC 817 last night I decided to pull out a UFO and figured I would finish this one up to pass the time. I am hoping to get Jordan's piece done by the end of the week. Looks like rain AGAIN so it may be a good night to curl up on the sofa and stitch the night away.

Bad Stitching Day Yesterday

OK whoever sent this frog to my house yesterday needs to come back and get it! I needed to frog out the A 3 times yesterday (maybe that is what I get for trying to stitch and watch a movie huh?) I was going to post the progress pictures but my camera batteries seem to be missing. I went out and bought some more this morning so once they are charges I will post them right away. Off to work on some email responses and then the day is ALL MINE!!!!

Summer Stitching

I started on stitching a name piece for Jordan last night so there is no real reason for an update picture. I will post one soon though. I have also stiched a few small things that I want to make into magnets so next time I go to the Dollar Store I will check it out and see if I can find some magnets to sttich on the back of the pieces. Other than that not much going on here. Other than swimming and hanging out outside with the kids. Off to stitch some more.

It's TOO Hot!

Today is another 3 H day (hazy, hot and humid). UGH!!!! I did a few small things here and there but other than that I am just trying to sit and stay cool. The kids are hanging out in front of Jordan's bedroom window watching the carpenter downstairs fixing the bulked (sp?) door. That is keeping them relatively quiet so I think that I may go and sneak in some Mommy stitching time.

And We Are Back...

After being without my computer for a couple of days we are now reunited and it feels so good. I did get a good deal of stitching in though as I am sure that you can see. Off to spend time with the family and stitch some more.

1 month anniversary

Yesterday was the one month anniversary of the death of my grandmother and as a way to feel closer to her I sat and stitched on my Rose Beauty. I took a picture but I am currently at my brother in laws house and the picture is on my hard drive at home. I have been stiotching on it here too so I will post a picture of the progress I have made while being here. I am sure that it isn't going to be that much of a difference but at least it is going to be some progress. Looking forward to seeing what everyone else worked on this weekend and as soon as I get back home I will post the progress that I made today.

Stitching Saturday

Here is the progress that I have made on my Rose Beauty project. I decided to leave the project on hte sofa and every time I passed it I put a few stitches into it. Have some laudry to do today, have to go and take a shower and get ready to go to brother-in-law's too. Off to start the fun LOL LOL

Here Come the Rain

OK it has been a while since I have been on here but life has gottne in the way. I finished Ashley's name piece (pictures of everything to follow) and then the stitching bug kind of died down but I did get the crochet bug so I went with that for a little while. My grandmother recently passed away and I remember her always sitting with me when I used to sleep over and we would sit and corchet together so I guess that in a way that has made me feel better doing that. Kind of makes me feel closer to her.

Opinions and Help Wanted

Started stitching this for my daughter and can't decide if I want to fill in the letters or leave them as they are. If I did fill them in I would fill them with the border color. What do you all think I should do???

Darn Frog!

OK so who sent this darn frog? I spent literally 2 hours frogging the right side of my WIP this morning. I was off by one row and it threw the whole thing off. I also took the kids to Dunkin Donuts for breakfast and went to get my hair cut. Now I am hoping that tonight I can work on WIP some more and actually stitch it the right way this time while watching Jon and Kate Plus 8 (LOVE THST SHOW!!!).

St. Sylvestre WIP

Here is my latest update on St. Sylvestre. This week is school vacation so I am hoping to finish if not come close to finishing this this week.

Decided it was time that Ashley DEFINITELY needs to be in a big girl bed. Jerry is going to go to my grandparents house as soon as he gets up to get her bed and then the crib will be GONE GONE GONE. Now I tried once before to put her in her big girl bed and all she did was scream, but now she seems really excited to be getting one. Maybe that is because I promised to get her Tinkerbell sheets for her new "big girl bed". Hope you all enjoy the attached pics of my progress and of my 2 little monkies.
