I'm So Excited...

I am off soon to go and print out my first HAED desgin (my printer is dead need to use mom's) and then hopefully I can find some fabric and get started on it. My only question is how do you go about starting one of these patterns? I have seen most of the designs worked from the top corner and the fabric is "blocked off". Do you use a fabric pen and box out 10 x 10 areas? Any input is greatly appreciated.

Frigid Friday

Haven't posted on here in a while but I figured now is as good a time as any. Thanks to my 123 friends I decided to keep this blog going to have something to look back at later. Been working on Welcome Sampler and plan on sitting down tonight in front of the tube and stitching while catching up on my shows. I also ordered to patterns from HEAD and can't wait to start on those as well. Here is what Welcome looks like before putting some serious stitching into it. Crud I just went to add picture and realized that it wasn't loaded on computer yet so I will post a before and after picture later.

Slow Saturday

I have been working off and on with Rose Beauty today. Bounced around here and there so I didn't get too bored working on one color. Hopefully there is a noticable amount done since my last posting. Getting ready to go back to work on Monday and Jordan goes back to school too so I am hoping to get a little housework done and get some more stitched on this too.

Here is where I was after the pats game on Sunday...

Since I was feeling under the weather yesterday I decided to sit on the sofa and stitch most of the day away. Didn't get alot done but I did take a nap so that is my excuse for that LOL LOL. Apparently, the rechargeable batteries that I got with my old camera are not compatible with this camera so before I can take any more pics I need to go out and buy some batteries that are compatible. I will take another picture hopefully by the end of the day.

Ashley feel asleep on the recliner so I figured that this would be great opportunity to get some quiet time stitching in. Tomorrow Jerry has the day/night off so I am hoping that we can sit and watch his I Am Legend DVD that he got for Christmas. He has seen it and said that it is really good but I have yet to see it. I am also planning on making Lazy Man Lasagna tomorrow too. Off to stitch some more and then off to bed for this girl.

Mad Mommy Today

I got up this morning to find a BIG hole in my WIP. I know what most of you are saying "you left it out so it is your own fault that it got ruined". The only thing that is keeping me somewhat sane is the fact that I wasn't that far along. I am at my brother in laws right now and brought The Cricket Collection's Chili Pepper Mitten that I started working on so I am sure that you guys will see a picture either later tonight or tomorrow. Other than that not much going on here. Will talk to you all some more later.

Oh while I am thinking of it I got an idea from Carols' blog that I thought would be a really neat idea. I want to stitch ornaments this year and send them out to my various stitching firends, but I don't have anyone's address. Back to the Bolg

I got a new camera for CHristmas ... a Nikon Cool Pix L18 so now I can start sahring pics again. I was going throught my cross stitch stuff since I now have my craft corner back. My dad took my tree home with him today so that is one less thing cluttering up the living room LOL LOL. I came across this WIP so I started working on it again last night and today.
Will post some more pictures tomorrow. Hope everyone had a great Christmas.

Nasty Weather Coming This Way

Well we are in for some really nasty weather so no recess at school equals no work for me. I am going to embrace the time off til I have to go back until 2:15 so I think that I may pull out my Bear House Rules and work on that a little or I may just sit and work on one on of afghans some more. Other than that I don't have much more to share.

Baby it's cold outside

All I can say for right now is BRRR. It is so windy and blustery outside. You have got to love New England weather huh? I am almost finished with the bear in the cupboard (sorry for the bad picture in my last posting). I am hoping ot be able to curl up on the sofa and get him finished tonight.

Football Sunday

While Jerry and his brother are watching football I am sitting here playing on the computer in between stitching. I decided to start a freebie from http://ludivineneuh.canalblog.com. It is called La Maisoin du Bonheur. It is a small picture so I fugred rather than lugging Bear House Rules and all the floss and stuff that goes with it that I would kit up a small project and make it my "football project" when we come over to my brother in law's house. I am going to try and take pics from my camera phone and see how they come put and then will post them on here.

All Excited!

I finally did it yeasterday girls! I bought a crop-a-dile. THanks for the review on it Meari. I was perusing AC Moore yesterday and found one for $32.99 and had a 40% off coupon so I figured why not. I AM IN LOVE!!!! I already made a Halloween hanging (just have to get some ribbin for it). Yeah watch out here comes the ornies and more! I have also been chugging away on Bear House Rules. Once I get a camera to borrow I will post some pics of what I have been up to.

Round Robin Help

OK girls I need some help with this. I am thinking of starting a round robin but not sure how to go about doing it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreicated. I am thinking of doing a Britty Kitty themed one but not 100% set on that yet.

I finished my Flamingo beach bag today. Unfortunately, I don't have a digital camera right now so I can't take a picture. :( I am now getting the floss pulled to work on Joan Elliott's Bear House Rules. Looking forward to seeing how everyone's summer projects are coming along.

New Stash

I ordered 2 things from 123 Stitch on Friday and they arrived in the mail yesterday! I ordered a Charles Craft 14 count Grasshopper Green bag (which I immediately started stitching the flamingo on). http://www.123stitch.com/cgi-bin/itemdetail.pl?item=123-4361 I also ordered a 30 x 36 piece of evenweave fabric to stitch Bear House Rules on. Other than that mot much going on around here.

Last Picture Post

Well my camera has official gone to camera heaven.I put all the pictures on the computer before it did so until I save up enough money to get another one I am camera less for now. I did manage to get a picture of the finished Jordan project that I finished up yesterday. Just needs to be ironed and framed and then it can hang on his wall for him to enjoy. I have decide to stitch a Peony project that came with the new DMC Impressions fabric that I bought at AC Moore a few weeks ago. You can see a picture of the fabric here... When browsing Michael's the other day for some DMC 817 I came across some other Impressions fabrics but stopped myself from buying anymore fabric (until I go back to work of course LOL LOL). Then I am going to buy a couple more pieces. Off to take the kids outside for a little while before it starts to storm like they are predicting. Happy Stitching Day everyone!

A WIP and a Finish

After running out of DMC 817 last night I decided to pull out a UFO and figured I would finish this one up to pass the time. I am hoping to get Jordan's piece done by the end of the week. Looks like rain AGAIN so it may be a good night to curl up on the sofa and stitch the night away.

Bad Stitching Day Yesterday

OK whoever sent this frog to my house yesterday needs to come back and get it! I needed to frog out the A 3 times yesterday (maybe that is what I get for trying to stitch and watch a movie huh?) I was going to post the progress pictures but my camera batteries seem to be missing. I went out and bought some more this morning so once they are charges I will post them right away. Off to work on some email responses and then the day is ALL MINE!!!!
