OK so I haven't gotten too much done on this but with Thanksgiving and holiday shopping I haven't had much time. That is ok me and Crabby Crush have a meeting tonight to watch Call Me Mrs. Miracle that I DVR'd on Saturday night.

K so I am on day 3 of working on Crabby Crush and I am now loving it. Doing it on the 14ct Aida is so much easier than that 25 ct. I will post a picture soon of the progress I have made. The colors are so vibrant and the picture is sooo cute. I don't know why I didn't choose to do a HAED pattern sooner.

GO PATS!!!!

Thanks to all of my 123 MB friends that posted to me telling me that it is also hard for them to do stitching 25 ct. over 1. I have decided to do Crabby Crush on 14 ct Aida. I know it will end up being a big project but at least I will have fun stitching it not having the headache that I was with the 25 ct. evenweave. I love evenweave but I think fomr now on I will only stitch in 25/32 over 2. Does this mean I am getting old?

PS Does anyone know where to get some really nicce backgrounds for blogs?

I'm So Excited...

I am off soon to go and print out my first HAED desgin (my printer is dead need to use mom's) and then hopefully I can find some fabric and get started on it. My only question is how do you go about starting one of these patterns? I have seen most of the designs worked from the top corner and the fabric is "blocked off". Do you use a fabric pen and box out 10 x 10 areas? Any input is greatly appreciated.

Frigid Friday

Haven't posted on here in a while but I figured now is as good a time as any. Thanks to my 123 friends I decided to keep this blog going to have something to look back at later. Been working on Welcome Sampler and plan on sitting down tonight in front of the tube and stitching while catching up on my shows. I also ordered to patterns from HEAD and can't wait to start on those as well. Here is what Welcome looks like before putting some serious stitching into it. Crud I just went to add picture and realized that it wasn't loaded on computer yet so I will post a before and after picture later.
