Update on stitching

Here is what I have gotten stitched today so far...

Have been babysitting for my neighbor today so I have dome more refereeing than I have stitching :( Jordan and Michael have been fighting like cats and dogs all day. Why can't people teach their kids some manners for when they are over other people's houses??!?! Maybe after "comapny" leaves then I can get back to my stitching without having to worry about that darn frog coming to visit me for not paying attention to what I am doing. Off to get the kids ready to sit quietly (rolling eyes).

Green Floral Teacup

Worked a little on my green floral teacup last night and here is what I got done so far.

I am thinking that after this is done I may hot glue it to my teabag container to spruce it up a little. Not 100% sure yet though. The last teapot I stitched I made into a trivet so I may just do that with this one too. Off to stitch some more.

Decisions Decisions

You Are 24 Years Old

Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe.

13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.

20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!

40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax.

I will be 26 in April so I guess you could say that I actually do at my age (or close to it anyway LOL LOL)

Decided to work on something small to take with my in the car when I am waiting to pick DH up from work. Haven't decided what I want to stitch yet though. ROFL. I know that I either want to stitch something out of the teacup or teapot leaflet that I have. Will let you know what I decide a little later.

Oh the weather outside....

is FREEZING!!!! It is so windy. It is lightly snowing but isn't accumulating so I guess that that is a good thing. Took a little break from stitching (I know GASP!!!) and have been making a few puzzles that I received for Christmas and just now decided to sit and do. This one is a Mary Engelbriet one that Jerry bought for me ...

Sorry if it isn't a good quality picture. Will try and get a better picture later after Jerry gets up. I am right now working on a Winnie the Pooh sketch puzzle that will look awesome next to my computer once it is finished, glued and mounted.

Off to make some pudding with Jordan for after dinner.

Monday Monday

Is it Monday again already? It seems like just yesterday it was Friday! Just sitting here waiting for 7th Heaven to start. I am sooo sad that there are only a few more episodes left. I LOVE this show and so does my son. Is it bad for a 5 year old to look forward to 7th Heaven on Mondays??? ROFL.

Worked on Home more today and love the way that the cat is starting to really appear. I can't wait to get some more of the surrounding color in so that I can start backstitching the small area that I have already stitched. This way I don't have too too much backstitching to do at the end. Stitch an area then backstitch it.

I was also sitting here thinking about how in 3 days my baby girl will be 11 months old. Where has the time gone?!?!? Well off to get ready to sit with my snack, stitching and water and veg in front of the TV.

Super Snowy Stitching Day!

Here is where I was on Home is Where the Cat Is as of 8 last night...

and here is where I am as of right now...

I have been working on this off and on today while admiring all the snow that is falling outside.
Will work on it some more later. Right now I am just trying to catch up on my blogging and emails. Can't believe that we are getting all of this snow. Makes for a great day to just sit and not do anything but stitch so that is great.

Found this at someone else's blog and thought that it was neat. Here are my results...

Wacky Wednesday

Well my day starting out horrible. Took the baby to the doctors since she has been pulling on her ears so much (no ear infection just bad wax build-up). As I got out of the van I heard an loud hissing noise. I go around to the passenger side and noticed that the front tires is blowing bubbles into a puddle. Called DH and he came to put the spare on. Now I get to call around to different places to get an idea of how much a new tire is going to cost. FUN FUN FUN. Think I may go and eat my pizza and then stitch a little of this stress away.

YOU'RE NOT A DRAMA QUEEN.
You're quite the opposite. Really.
Sometimes, you degrade yourself because you feel

that you're not as good as friends, or that

you're not worthy. You pretty much pity

yourself. If you are degrading yourself, stop

it!
