Slow Sunday

I have only been up for an hour?!?!? It seems like I have been up for 5 hours already. Didn't get as much done on Home is Where the Cat Is (HIWTCI) last night but I got a little done so I will post a pic later after I have worked on it for a good part of the day. Here is the cover pic anyway so you will know what I am talking about when I mention it.

Super Saturday!

It was so nice to be able to get up this morning and take a shower without any kids or DH bothering me for this or that. I got all my "chores" done so I decided to go through my stash and find a new project to work on. I decided to work on Joan Elliott's Home is Where the Cat Is. Now I just have to go to the store and make my copies of the pattern and buy fabric to stitch it on. I am also getting a new dryer today so I am excited about that. Will post my progress either tonight or tomorrow.

Sick Day here

Well I have been up since 1 am with my son. He woke up complaining that he had an earache and then the pain got so bad that he was in tears and couldn't sleep. I filled my hot water bottle, out it in between the pillow and pillowcase and had him slept raised on 3 pillows in my bed then tried to settle in myself only to have him toss and turn all night. Needless to say right now I am dragging. He has been to the doctors and is on medication so he is laying on the sofa right now watching Care Bears. I am hoping to be able to get some stitching in later once I get everything done here that I have been dragging my feet doing. Will post pics soon.
